Each session is scheduled to begin and end at its appointed time. If you are late, please understand that your session will be shortened and end at the scheduled time. New client form must be completed before your first session begins. During your first session, you will be asked to provide a great deal of background information about yourself, describe your patterns and issues, discuss what if anything has worked for you in the past, and your current situation in detail. You will be asked to state your reasons for therapy and what you hope to get out of it.
At the conclusion of our first session, I will speak with you about my recommendations for your future. The first step towards change is the initial visit. It is in that moment that I can motivate you into a healthier and more rewarding life style. It is crucial that you and I are fully aligned in our partnership.
This process creates trust and honesty as we progress towards your goals. You will be expected to participate and try new forms of communication, right there, at the first session. I am often asked, “HOW do I begin therapy?” My answer is simple, “First, you must be Honest, Open, and Willing to Change. This is H.O.W.”
All sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes and the fee is $185 couples/family and $160 for individuals. You must proccess your credit card online 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time, click here, which ensures your appointment time. For your convenience, you may complete the required New Client Form, and bring it with you to your first session. Otherwise, please come 15 minutes early to complete the required New Client Form in our lobby.
